Underlying
‘Underlying’ is a series of images that examine my personal reality as a designated vulnerable person during the Covid-19 pandemic. After finding myself stranded in a holiday villa in Southern Spain I decided to turn my camera on myself, using the alien environment around me to explore my physical vulnerabilities I usually seek to hide. The project intersects a running conversation with my Mum with photographs of myself and my surroundings. This work was created with the help from Rebecca Vassie Trust.
what is something you'd like to do that you can't?
I’d love to be able to walk in the mountains with my dog Mocca and my partner Lizzie.
