Most of you reading this will be in some form of quarantine right now. It is a surreal period in time, a near-worldwide stand still. Our hearts and strength are first and foremost with all of those who have been directly affected by COVID-19; whether through the loss of loved ones, family and friends or because of the financial hardships and pressures on mental and physical wellbeing.
Our interest is forever in documenting the shared experiences of people and communities around the world. In this moment, with over two billion people in quarantine, the shared experience is like none other any of us have experienced before. We felt there is something worth talking about here.
To this end, we have set up Quarantine Space. We want to document and archive how people are responding to and experiencing this moment in time. Whether it is a story on a local community group organising to support those most in need or a photo essay from your isolation stations - we want to hear from you.
Submission Guidelines +
Who can submit?
Literally anyone. Hairdresser, artist, doctor, teacher (the list goes on) - we welcome all!
What can you submit?
Anything you’ve been thinking / making / seeing since the quarantine has started.
This can be in any form you wish - photo, text, video, audio etc.
We encourage submissions that are in a raw / diary format - you can see this space as your own scrapbook.
Can you submit on a regular basis?
We see our archive being a collective diary / scrapbook during this global pandemic so we would love to hear from you on a regular basis.
