How Long Is The TimE
This self portrait series was made during the lockdown phase in Berlin. It was a very difficult time for me, because it wasn't possible to se my family, to meet friends, to take pictures of people, to play music for audience etc. But all of us were, or are still, dealing with these problems in different ways. Long story short, this series shows my personal way to express feelings, which I was confronted with being allone with myself 24/7. It was a way to express my emotions, thoughts and maybe fear through an abstract symbiosis between a human body and empty spaces, "held" by my analog Pentacon Six TL. Anyway, this self portrait series was the first one I made after being one and a half months in self-isolation.
what is something you'd like to do that you can't?
This is a really random thought but I would love to listen more to old people in the rest homes. These people often need someone to talk to, because silence can kill..
